"..and if I go to D.C., I'm tryna spar with Trump."
Off top lemme say, this track is #PLVYLIST approved hands down. Issa vibe with a message. Y'all know that's my steeze. Each one of these artists delivered verses with "depth", as Kodak jokingly mentions in the intro, that were consistent with their individual styles. They came to deliver a message about our current society that you must take a reckoning to if you're a human being. Dreezy, 6LACK, and Kodak are all problems to look out for in the music industry in their own right.
Sidenote: Shoutout to anyone who thinks Kodak is just young and dumb. Y'all wrong.
I'm excited to drop this track on the blog as well as my home page #PLVYLIST. I was able to catch this song live, pre-release I might add, at a show in Orlando. Along with the natural vibes the song provides, Madam ButterFlii's sensual performance style added another element of enjoyment. It's now out and available via Apple Music & Spotify.
We got some new vybes in from Chris Catlin called "Snapchat". I hear there's a video coming soon so stay tuned!
Here's a new track from Skyler White titled "You Shoulda Known". The song speaks on the people who have seen you sticking to your passion, your grind forever, but fail to see your greatness until everyone else does. This song spoke volumes to me as an artist. It's listed under a "Trap & Blues" genre tag that fits it pretty well. Stream "You Shoulda Known" below. #PLVYLIST Approved
Upcoming Skyler White Shows
Culture Shock @ Uncle Lou's (Orlando)
Fusion @ Backbooth (Downtown Orlando)
I may be late, but i'm sure there are plenty more people who haven't heard this dope project yet. Can't just be me. This Smino guy has a jiggy vibe and I haven't been able to stop listening to it since my photo editing session yesterday evening. Check it out!

New music from WTF's HAJR out in California. It's got a groove, so you know it's hitting the #PLVYLIST.
We didn't pull through with the W to get "Two Tears" onto the radio, but i'm extremely overwhelmed by the support that was shown during the voting process. For that, I wanted to give the gvng some new music out of a-preesh-iation. "Watch me do it for the gvng, yeah," Enjoy!

Who knew this song would touch so many people the way it touched me in writing it? I'm realizing that sometimes as artists, we don't even know where the words are coming from. It flows out so well that it's like someone else, another being, is writing for us. Maybe this was my mother speaking to me through my music helping me heal. Now, we all can heal. This song has become my strength and maybe it can do the same for you.
"Two Tears" is the first song I wrote after changing my name to IAMPVYNE. "Cry two tears in a bucket" is a phrase I had heard in one of my favorite movies "House Party" (said by icon George Clinton). My interpretation of it was always that we won't cry long enough to fill a bucket with our tears, so why even waste time trying. The pain never lasts that long . We must embrace the fact that struggle is simply apart of the human experience and only there to give us strength, to mold us into the people we have the potential to become. This song came to me at a transitional period where I had just lost my first post-college job and I was figuring out who I truly wanted to be. It came 7 years after losing Mama V and it made all too much sense. Mama was a christian woman so I grew up in the church since before birth. The number 7, in those terms, is the number of completion, perfection. That 7th year was me finally coming to terms with my loss and understanding how it could be used to help others. That's why I became "IAMPVYNE". Just felt like I should share this with you all.

"I'm the one paying attention, so it won't cost you." - Pvyne
Happy Valentine's Day to the woman who needs no handouts, or anything for that matter but your love and attention. This is for the woman who can't be drawn in by your wallet because she got her own. This is for the bossed out woman who has discovered her boss status and for the one on the verge of that discovery. I see you. Keep that grind strong, baby girl. #WTFGVNG
Enjoy and leave a comment if you like!

2 Chainz has dropped visuals for “Good Drank", a single off of his latest project Hibachi For Lunch which released October 2016.

"No Holding Back", a new song from Chris Catlin and produced by Capi, delivers it's promise. Adopting the sounds of Wayne Wonder’s 2003 hit "No Letting Go", Chris Catlin takes Wonder’s style and transfigures it into a unique mix that has us dancing at an island fete with drinks flowing upon first listen. The moment Catlin’s voice collaborates with this beat we are introduced to fresh, new music that keeps every part of our bodys dancing, and keeps voices recalling a familiar tune. Chris Catlin united Caribbean music from the past with his original sound to bring us new vibes in "No Holding Back".
